Come and discover Rome from a new perspective! Rafting on the Tiber will give you an unusual visit to the historic center, combining the wonders of the city with an adrenaline-pumping outdoor sport. After the descent, walk inside the Gianicolo Park and the Botanical Garden, ticket included.
Participants will receive the equipment necessary for the descent (paddle, life jacket, helmet) and will attend an introduction on the behavior to be adopted in the river.
We will pass by Castel Sant’Angelo, in all its majestic grandeur, we will take a glimpse at Via della Conciliazione and, in the background, the Vatican with the Dome well in sight, as well as the famous Piazza Trilussa considered the center of the Trastevere nightlife.
We will cross imposing bridges such as Vittorio Emanuele II, Sant’Angelo, Garibaldi and in the last part of the route we will sail on the rapids that flank the Tiber Island, the smallest island in the world to be inhabited, until we pass the only remaining arch of Ponte Rotto (Broken Bridge).
