There are many wineries to choose from, from the most historic and traditional to the most modern.
In combination will be served a lunch consisting of a platter of local meats and cheeses, the company’s own production, a first course and a dessert.
Sirmione, a highlight of our Milan, Lake Garda, and Beauties of Veneto tour, is located in the southern part of Lake Garda. It’s a village with ancient charm with its architectural beauty of great value and breathtaking views. During the visit we’ll admire the splendid Scaligero Castle (entrance ticket included), symbol of Sirmione and welcomes visitors at the entrance of the historical town centre and the Grottoes of Catullus.
Included among the most beautiful villages in Italy, Borghetto, located in the municipality of Valeggio sul Mincio near Lake Garda, is a charming village of mills, so picturesque that it does not seem true, but painted as the backdrop of a theater scene: A handful of houses, surrounded by medieval fortifications, that for centuries coexist with water and water have always drawn reason of existence, fortune and fame.

Asti is a medieval city, for this reason it is called the city of 100 towers. It is the home of “Spumante” and “Barbera” wine, located in the heart of Monferrato, surrounded by hills, streams and vineyards. We will take a walk in the historic center: Piazza Campo del Palio, one of the largest squares in Italy where a palio with over 1200 characters in costume takes place. Piazza Alfieri and Palazzo Alfieri (from the outside), the house where the famous poet was born. The Troyana Tower, or Clock Tower, the oldest in the city and the best preserved in Piedmont: its structure, in fact, is intact.
The village of Neive is one of the jewels of the Langhe. It is a medieval village perched on top of a hill and surrounded by vineyards. We will stroll through the cobbled streets, visit (from the outside) the most important buildings in the town, such as the Clock Tower, a symbol of the municipality. Buildings from later periods overlook Piazza Italia: The Ancient Town Hall and the Palazzo Borghese, inside of the Palace there are the ancient cellars carved into the rock. From Piazza Negro you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Langhe.
Barolo is a small village that gives its name to the finest wine of the Langhe. You will have free time to stroll through the streets of this village, among cellars, ancient buildings, restaurants, and bakeries, including the Panetteria Craveri, very famous for its breadsticks.
The most important building of the city is Falletti Castle, where the Barolo Regional Enoteca is now located. It was here that, in about 1200, Giulia Falletti experimented with the winemaking method of Barolo wine as it is still known today.
The Tuscan countryside is best known for its rolling hills, populated by golden vineyards and often found on postcards and prints of Italy and its rich Chianti red wines.
First thing on the itinerary is a walk to Florence’s market to pick up the ingredients you will prepare for your lunch. The chef accompanying you will help you find the highest quality ingredients in the market. After getting all the fresh ingredients you need, you’ll head to a professional location just a short walk away. But before you start prepping for your lunch, you’ll enjoy a delicious tasting of local products. Then, under the expert guidance of our chefs, you’ll learn how to make a three-course meal. Once you’ve cooked your meal, of course you get to eat it – along with two glasses of a selection of Chianti wines.
Pisa is famous for its Piazza dei Miracoli, which contains many Unesco heritage buildings: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery and its famous Leaning Tower. Piazza dei Cavalieri, from there we will see the Palazzo della Carovana, then we will go on to discover Piazza Delle Vettovaglie . Here we will find Borgo Stretto, made up of shopping streets that are very popular with both tourists and locals.
Lucca is very famous for its medieval walls, as the city grew and modernized, the walls that surrounded the old town were maintained and as they lost their military importance, the top of the walls became a pedestrian promenade, today one of Lucca’s main attractions, from where you can overlook the entire city in all its medieval beauty!
We will move to the heart of the historic center with a visit to Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain, unforgettable location of “La Dolce Vita” by Fellini, in wich a very young Anita Ekberg invites Marcello Mastroianni into the fountain, using the famous: “Marcello, come here!” After a short stop, we’ll visit to Piazza della Rotonda to admire the Pantheon, a temple built in 27 BC. later converted into a Basilica, and the Renaissence fountain of Bernini built in the square in 1575.
The enormous St. Peter’s Basilica (Basilica di San Pietro) dominates Vatican City, and its dome can be seen from all over Rome. Between the Baldacchino and Bernini’s Colonnade that frames the Dome designed by Michelangelo, we will cross the great Square of St. Peter’s admiring the magnificence of the Apostolic Palace with the window where the Pope looks out every Sunday for the Angelus.
We will proceed to the Vatican Museums, where Sarcophagi and mosaics share the space with masterpieces by great masters such as Giotto, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael up to Dalì, Canova and Matisse. In the midst of so much beauty, the presence of a fragment of lunar rock donated to Vatican citizens by former US president Nixon continues to amaze.
The tour ends in the Sistine Chapel where it is possible to admire the famous frescoes of the representation of the Last Judgment.
We will begin our tour from the Flavian Amphitheater, better known as the Colosseum, it is one of the most visited monuments ever, an icon of the Capitoline city. We continue to the Imperial Forums, a series of monuments and archaeological remains that were once the stage of political life.
We will end the morning with the visit of the Capital hill (Campidoglio), with its square.
Spend an afternoon immersed in the authentic villages of the Roman Castles. With our guide, we will take a walk in the heart of Frascati. We will visit the Cathedral of San Pietro, a baroque church. We will admire the Church of Gesù, inside which numerous baroque frescoes and the “false dome” are preserved, and we will walk through the streets of the historic center with the “Belvedere” overlooking Rome and the Tuscolan Villas.
We will then move to Castel Gandolfo with the beautiful view of Lake Albano and take a walk in Nemi.
For dinner, we will stop at a farmhouse with a typical menu and tasting of locally produced wines.
